Sofia Marques Ferreira is a filmmaker and artist. Exploring nuances of the body as a site of resistance, the artist outlines a suspended place and time of immaterial visual landscapes. SØA which she founded is a platform for today’s artists, makers and risk-takers. Currently at Center of Cultural Studies, Performing Arts and Audiovisual, University of Lisbon, her practice focuses embodied narratives and includes film, sound and installation.
